Last year, we threatened you with a good time by letting you know about a panel happening at MAGWest 2024 that was definitely about Final Fantasy VII.
It took almost a year, but the MAGWest team has finally uploaded the video of our panel, which was (spoilers) not about Final Fantasy VII.
If you want to watch the co-editors of this blog scream about Final Fantasy VIII and recap many of the posts we’ve made on this site — plus allude to other things we’ll probably write about in the future! — then here is a video. This was by far the most unhinged panel either of us have done, and thankfully the good attendees of MAGWest seemed to get the energy we were going for.
(Unfortunately, computer audio is WAY too loud in this recording, so some parts, including the first minute, are almost inaudible. We must live with this.)
Just to be clear, this was done with the full knowledge of the event about what we were going to do. But now we can never do this again. At least until you LEAST EXPECT IT.
